Know Before You Go!

Our Battle Rental Terms

This guide explains everything you need to know when renting Spyra blasters and accessories from Battle Quest Events. Please read carefully to ensure a smooth and safe experience. In addition, understanding these terms helps avoid any confusion or unexpected charges.

Rental Agreement

We provide all equipment for a set rental period, as agreed during booking. From the moment you receive the gear until the time you return it, you are fully responsible for its care and safe use. Therefore, please check all equipment upon pick-up and notify us immediately of any issues.

Security Deposit

A security deposit, as specified during the booking process applies to all rental packages.

The full deposit must be paid at the time of booking or delivery. Once all equipment is returned clean, complete, and in good working condition, we will issue a full refund within 3 business days. Refunds are processed via your original payment method or bank transfer, based on your preference.

Delivery & Pickup Terms

Battle Quest Events offers a convenient Delivery & Pickup Service for customers located within the Canberra region. This service includes:

  • Delivery of your battle pack to the address provided at the time of booking
  • Pickup of all rented equipment from the same address at the end of the rental period

This option is available for a standard fee as specified during the booking process, which covers both delivery and return pickup.

You will be contacted prior to your rental date to confirm delivery and pickup windows. All delivery times are subject to availability.

Customer Responsibilities:

  • Ensure someone is present at the delivery and pickup location during the agreed times

  • Provide clear and safe access to the property

  • Have all equipment ready for collection at the scheduled pickup time

Additional fees may apply if no one is present, or if the wait time exceeds 15 minutes.

SELF Pickup Terms

Customers may choose to pick up and return equipment themselves from our designated pickup location:

How it works:

  • You pick up your rental equipment at the agreed time

  • You return the equipment to the same location by the scheduled return time

This option is free of charge. However, customers are responsible for:

  • Safely transporting all equipment

  • Ensuring all items are returned on time, clean, and in good working condition

Late returns, missing items, or items returned in poor condition may result in additional fees.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Presence: Ensure someone is present at the delivery and pickup locations during the scheduled times.

  • Accessibility: Provide clear access to the premises for delivery and pickup.

  • Timeliness: Be ready at the agreed-upon times to avoid delays.

Additional Charges

  • Missed Appointments: If no one is available during the scheduled delivery or pickup time, a re-delivery or re-pickup fee may apply.

  • Extended Wait Times: Waiting beyond 15 minutes at the delivery or pickup location may incur additional charges.

Handle With Care – Here’s Why

You are liable for any item that is lost, damaged, or not returned. We deduct the corresponding cost from your deposit. If the cost of damage exceeds the deposit, we’ll send you an invoice for the balance. To avoid charges, ensure everything is returned in the same condition it was provided.

Liability

Battle Quest Events is not responsible for any injury, accident, or property damage that occurs during use of our equipment. You agree to use all equipment according to the safety guidelines and age requirements provided. Additionally, you must ensure all participants are briefed on safe and appropriate use before play begins.

Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your booking and receive a full refund if you notify us at least 48 hours in advance. However, cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable unless approved due to emergency or poor weather. We do not issue refunds for unused time or gear once your rental period begins.

Returns & Late Fees

Return all gear at or before your scheduled time. Otherwise, we charge a late fee of $50 per hour. Be sure to clean all items and return them in good condition. If not, we may apply a cleaning fee to cover the additional work required.

Using Spyra Rentals in Public Spaces

If you plan to use Spyra blasters in public parks or open spaces, please obtain any necessary permits from the relevant local authority. We are not liable for fines or legal action resulting from unauthorized use in public areas. For example, check local council rules before hosting battles in public fields.

Charging and Playtime Information

All Spyra devices are delivered fully charged so you can jump straight into action. Depending on the length of your event or session, you may need to recharge devices during breaks. Charging takes approximately 4 hours and ensures optimal performance throughout the day.

Playtime varies based on how intensely the devices are used. Each SpyraThree provides about 22 shots per tank and the SpyraGo delivers up to 3,375 shots on a full charge. For longer events, we recommend charging as required to maintain uninterrupted fun.
